Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Google Translate in translating texts from Arabic to Indonesian. The main objectives are to ensure accuracy in translation, precision in translation, and the connection between translation and meaning. This study aims to assess how effective Google Translate is in performing language translation. This research applies the descriptive qualitative method to analyze the phenomenon by considering the specific context. The data used in this study comes from both classical and modern Arabic texts. This research shows that although Google Translate has improved its performance, there are still some challenges that need to be overcome. Some of the challenges that often arise in translation include word-for-word translation, lack of understanding of the cultural context, and the use of sex and gender terms. This research shows that while Google Translate can serve as an innovative translation tool, it cannot replace human translation, especially when it comes to adverbial translation or aspects of grammar. This research highlights the important role of recognizing and improving translation quality and utilizing digital translation software. By learning how to use digital translation tools, users can enhance their translation skills and improve their brand language communication ability.
